The primary purpose of the Civil Rights Party is to participate in Federal Election in accordance and adherence with Elections Canada legislation as defined under the Canada Elections Act. The party’s platform is one of the most comprehensively designed in response to socio-economic, legislative, humanitarian and political affairs of all Canadian Citizens as a vital component of national democratic processes. Subsequently, the Civil Rights Party (CRP) promotes an integrated electoral approach for all Citizens to contribute to the growth and prosperity of their nation with a sense of dignity and integrity.

Our Mission

The Civil Rights Party of Canada is established to promote the election of Party candidates whereas our fundamental purpose is to participate in public affairs by endorsing our candidates with both technical and financial support; and works with national, provincial, and local party organizations, elected officials, candidates and constituencies, in accordance and adherence with the Canada Elections Act.

That commitment is reflected in a well designed political agenda that emphasizes strong sustainable economic growth, adequate health care, retirement security; whereas our Government is more compassionate and transparent, responsive to the Canadian people's needs and their expectations through open, honest and accountable Governance, thereby securing our national sovereignty while protecting our civil rights, human rights and fundamental freedoms; fulfilling Canada’s international responsibilities throughout the international communities altogether.

Our Philosophy

Inspired by The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR); whereby a United Nations (UN) treaty based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, created in 1966 and entered into force on 23 March 1976.

The Civil Rights Party of Canada is committed to real ethics reform and meaningful legislative and electoral reform that protects our human rights and civil rights and ensures that elected officials act ethically; not just within the law, but within the spirit of the rule of law aiming to restore and maintain the public trust.

We are committed to immediate change to lead our country in a new direction, to put an end to socio-economic and political exclusion and to make certain our nation's elected leaders serve the people's interests to the best of their abilities.

Our goal is to restore accountability, honesty and openness at all levels of government. To achieve this, we will create and enforce rules that facilitate political representations of all Citizens and Communities at the decision making levels of the Federal Government through the creation of governmental agencies and ministries.

Party History

At the start of the 21st Century, the Civil Rights Party of Canada can look back on a proud history — a history not just built upon political organization, human rights activism and civil rights advocacy; but of a national and international vision. The Civil Rights Party of Canada, a national and independent Political Party embodied within the Federal Association for the Advancement of Visible Minority (FAAVM) is involved in the field of electoral activities since its founding in 2002, working to establish and advance the principles of democracy and political rights as stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the INTERNATIONAL COVENANT ON CIVIL AND POLITICAL RIGHTS, and promoting and advancing electoral, legislative and socio-economic reform.

Corporate Status

Incorporated under Part II of the Canada Corporations Act (CCA), by-law regulations, letter patent; and governed by supplementary articles of incorporation; whereas FAAVM Constitution; Corporate Policies; Charity Rules and Procedures.

Our Principles

Client centered, working in partnership, accountability for quality results, dedicated to human dignity, human integrity, financial integrity and cost-effectiveness, inspired and innovative.

Our Political Agenda and Electoral Platform are established as follow

1. Health care spending in Canada reached $160 billion, or 10.6% of GDP, in 2007 and $171.9 billion in 2008, or $5,170 per person. There is considerable variation across the provinces/territories as to the extent to which such costs as outpatient prescription drugs, physical therapy, long-term care, home care, dental care and even ambulance services are covered. Our Government will focus Considerable attention on two critical issues: "wait times" whether for a specialist, major elective surgery, such as hip replacement, imaging procedures such as MRI or Cystoscopy, or specialized treatments, such as radiation for breast cancer; and "health human resources" whereas Canadians having difficulties accessing health care and shortage of medical practitioners.

2. To dissolve the Canada Student Loans Program (CSLP) and to promote accessibility to post-secondary education for all students free of charge; whereas making post-secondary education a free-to-access system base across Canada; additionally amending the Canada Student Loans Act; as well as the Canada Student Financial Assistance Act.

3. Promoting and Advancing Electoral Reform; Implementing and amending the Canada Elections Act; whereas a Prime Minister will be elected for a stable time period of four (4) years, by federal and general elections.

4. Legislative Reform; for the protection of Visible Minorities in Canada; creating federal, provincial and local institutions to protect minority groups, most significantly establishing and providing economic benefits; whereas minorities are contributing significantly to the overall Canadian economy.

5. Advancing and Enhancing Canada's International Diplomatic Relations with the International Communities; whereas the United Nations (UN), the European Union (EU), the African Union (AU), Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Organization of American States (OAS), The Caribbean Community (CARICOM), and Oceania/Australia Institutions; altogether Arabic and Middle East Nations.

6. Our Government also pledges to address issues in relation with Aboriginal peoples in Canada, also known as First Nations, Inuit and Métis; reinstating aboriginal sovereign rights, and tackle new policies to implement systemic structures to establish and protect Aboriginal Tribal Governments, as part of Canada's traditional cultural and spiritual heritages. To establish special commissions to review and accelerate Land Claims settlements, and developing specific socio-economic mechanisms whereas Minorities, First Nations, Women, and People with disabilities can participate equitably and contribute to the overall national and Global economies.

7. To improve gender equity within Public, Private and Federal Government institutions, maximizing Federal Government effectiveness for the prevention of violence against women, especially vulnerable women living within underprivileged communities across Canada, whereby implementing the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and the Beijing Declaration, by increasing national victim assistance programs responsiveness.

8. Our Government also pledges to establish specific mechanisms altogether with the United States of America (U.S.A) Government institutions; whereas more specifically the Department of Homeland Security; thereby to implement existing border security policies and develop Response Framework Partnership to prevent, prepare for, and provide a joint-forces response to natural disasters, national emergencies and natural catastrophes affecting United States of America and Canada.

9. To enforce and implement Canada's "Foreign Policy" for the protection of Canadian Citizens' international human rights, therefore working in partnership with foreign governments, altogether the military, whereby the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force; national and international authorities, civil societies, intelligence agencies; assisting to intervene in situations where Canadian Citizens' human rights and civil rights are violated and/or deprived; and their life threatened within the jurisdiction of a foreign country or territory. Thereinafter maximizing the various benefits of multilateral international cooperation; protecting Canada's national interests, national security, and economic prosperity throughout peaceful cooperation with other nations of the world.

10. Our Government also pledges to address: (a) national unity in Canada whereby the Secession of Quebec unilaterally from Canada ; promoting and advancing National and international Sovereignty; moreover National Security; (b) Implementing special Tax Benefits for Single Parent Families; Small and Large Corporations; and Small Businesses altogether; (c) Maximize Tax benefits for Self-Employed Individuals; local and international trade; aiming to boost local; national and international Economic Growth.

11. The Federal Association for the Advancement of Visible Minorities (FAAVM Canada); also a “Federal Government Lobbyist” has launched a special project for planning coordinating and directing efforts to initiate and launch The Federal Ministry of Minorities (FMM); whereas a Federal Government Department to be created by the Federal Government of Canada; through special Parliamentary Act; whereas the Senate and the House of Commons; thereinafter to advance majority-minority relations throughout Political Participation Programs on issues related to the inclusion of minorities in decision-making processes in support of ethno political representation.

For the past decades; minorities have contributed over $10 Billions in Provincial and Federal Taxes. Subsequently; the Federal Ministry of Minorities (FMM); whereunto established shall contribute to the strengthening of relevant legislations and best practices in governance to enhance the capacity of civil society actors and government to engage with one another in a constructive and sustainable fashion to foster the establishment; development and growth of minority-owned businesses in, minority entrepreneurs and business enterprises helping to stay competitive in the marketplace. Moreover assisting in developing Information Technology and Telecommunications programs-knowledge sharing aiming at the socio-economic, political, scientific, artistic; sportive; religious; spiritual and legislative advancement of the minority.

Community Volunteer Ambassador Program

Research alone shows that talking with voters face-to-face is more persuasive than TV advertising, direct mail or phone calls. For The Civil Rights Party of Canada to win Federal Elections, we need to go to our neighbors and communities, knock on their doors and discuss our Electoral Agenda; and how their support is important to make it happen. To accomplish this, we are launching an effort in communities across the country called the Community Volunteer Ambassador Program. We are recruiting activists and advocates like you who can commit to talk to as many neighbors and communities as possible, assisting to advance our Political Cause. We need 1,000 activists like you to pledge to be a Community Volunteer Ambassador.

Our National Youth Leadership Strategy

How The Civil Rights Party of Canada can and will win in every electoral districts, constituencies and ridings; by launching national massive effort to train and fund organizers on the ground in every province and territories. The ultimate goal? An active, effective group of Youth Civil Rights Leaders organized in every single precinct in the country who know their communities. We will bring those organizers together for summits and leadership forums, where they can learn the best practices for getting organized to win elections; and at the same time acquiring exceptional leadership skills, thereby dedicated to win votes for The Civil Rights Party of Canada (CRP).

Political Campaign Committees

The Intergovernmental Delegates

The Intergovernmental Delegates work with government institutions at all levels to support the Party’s Mission, and provide political and strategic assistance to implement Civil Rights Public Policies. In addition, The Intergovernmental Delegates play an integral role in developing positions and organizing special forums on key legislative and federal issues that affect government institutions, and also work in consultative and advisory status with the Office of the Prime Minister and the Governor General of Canada.

The Civil Rights Senatorial Committee

The purpose of the Civil Rights Senatorial Committee is to facilitate communication and joint-action with the Senate of Canada. Our goal as a committee is to foster dialogue between Senators and the new members of our caucus and our community leaders on vital issues such as energy independence, access to affordable health care, free post secondary education, job creation programs, small business and tax benefits, youth issues, senior citizen security, foreign policy, the military and veterans, women issues and the national economy. The House of Commons Electoral Committee

The House of Commons Electoral Committee serves as the official national government clearinghouse enables Members of Parliament (MPs) to develop specialized knowledge of the matters and issues affecting communities within jurisdictional constituencies and help design specific report mechanisms in order to have these local and national issues addressed by Parliamentarians. The Legislative Advisory Committee

The Legislative Advisory Committee provides legal advisory and consultative services through the overall activities, and all aspects of the ethical governance and good faith functioning of the Party.

The President of the Party

The Civil Rights Party of Canada President oversees the overall administration of the organization; and provides senior electoral and political campaign advisory services to elected leaders and other caucus members of the Party; working in consultancy status with the Party’s Elected Prime Minister in the selection of his/her Federal Ministerial Cabinet. The President is also the Chairman of all Political Campaign Committees; allocating items relevant to the work of the Committees to discuss them, and seeking where possible to harmonize the various approaches of the Party; and organizing discussion agendas to a plenary meeting for consideration, decisions in order to draft adequate resolutions, to present such recommendations for final voting. The voting sessions may include secret ballot voting. If the President’s recommendations win a majority vote; these resolutions become the Party official Policies and enter in force 30 days from the date of the official voting results. These Policies encompass the blueprint of the Party’s Governing Ethics and Protocols.

The Vice President

The Vice President, as a member of the executive branch is elected or nominated by the President of the Party, or upon recommendation of the Leader. By virtue, the Vice President's role also constitutes acting as President in case of the President’s absence; co-chairman of the Party’s Political Committees; calling for general meeting; creating, establishing and presiding over Political Ad hoc Committees; assisting in drafting and reviewing the Party’s existing and/or new operational policy; subsequently provides senior level advise to the Leader through consultative and advisory status. The Vice President also represents the President at public meetings, media, press, news interview and other public special events. The Vice President is the first person in the presidential line of succession; and work together with the Elected Prime Minister of the Party’s Leader to provide electoral and political support to the Prime Minister and his/her Ministerial Cabinet.

The Leader & Prime Minister Candidate

The leader and Prime Minister candidate’s primary role is to vehicle the Party's political platform through various channels; such as the press & media, to conduct public speaking meetings and actively involved in the Party‘s electoral mechanisms by providing leadership advisory assistance to other leaders of the Party; seeking to be elected as Prime Minister of Canada. Additionally; when elected; assuming his/her role as Prime Minister; whereas acting under senior advisory assistance nominating and selecting his/her ministerial cabinet.
