Raphael Louis: Prime Minister of Canada for 2020

Barh Koh ESDA

Sharing the vision of Justice, Freedom, Peace and Socio-Economic Benefits for all!

The Vision of the New Canada; a Nation founded upon the fundamental elements of Justice, Freedom, Peace, and Socio-Economic Benefits for all – echoes the principles of Human Rights. It is therefore our duty to come together and work in solidarity to expound these principles not only within Canada, but on the global scene as well.

As many of us will recall, it was a little more than 60 years ago, that the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Following this historic act the Assembly called upon all Member countries to publicize the text of the Declaration and "to cause it to be disseminated, displayed, read and expounded principally in schools and other educational institutions, without distinction based on the political status of countries or territories." But 60 years later, the nations of Africa are still dirt poor; the life of the African in the sub-Sahara region is still sadly crippled by extreme poverty, malnutrition, diseases, civil strife and ethnic discrimination. Many Africans live in refugee camps in the midst of vast inhabited lands void of water, food and all basic necessities.

While the debate over the lack of sustainable development efforts in many parts of Africa may not be conclusive, we at Barh Koh E.S.D.A recognize that countries like Chad, Central African Republic, Sudan, Congo, and the vast majority of other countries in sub-Sahara Africa risk a tragic future if new strategies and concrete sustainable actions are not immediately put in place.

Some critics may argue that several humanitarian organizations are already known to exist that provide African-related programs. The reality is that Africa is a vast impoverished continent, and not all sectors have been adequately reached by humanitarian organizations to date, and the poor are getting poorer...

Barh Koh ESDA is a registered; Toronto based nonprofit organization with a mandate to promote Environmental Protection, Children’s Education and Sustainable Development—in efforts to help relieve poverty in Chad and other parts of Africa. It distinguishes itself by:

1. Promoting comprehensive programs that integrate Agricultural and Natural Resources, Education, Women in Development, the Environment, Healthcare and Sanitation to help reduce poverty,
2. Engaging the African Diaspora and Friends of Africa in Canada and worldwide, to get involved in its African initiatives, and
3. Engaging the Canadian government, current and new, to extend its international expression of human values and culture; the desire to help the less fortunate and sharing their values - with the impoverished nation of Chad and other disadvantaged countries in Africa where Canada does not offer development assistance.

Our work begins in Chad because of our familiarity with the conditions in Chad, as well as its extreme poverty. But our mandate is to extend our poverty relief programs to other African countries.
